If you are using our platform on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on this page. Your continued use of our platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

“Platform” refers to the Recruix.com.ng website, mobile applications, and all associated services and features

“Job Seeker” refers to any individual who uses our platform to search for, browse, or apply for job opportunities
“Employer” refers to any individual, company, organization, or recruitment agency that uses our platform to post job listings or search for candidates

“Job Listing” refers to any vacancy, position, role, or employment opportunity posted by an employer on our platform
“Account” refers to a registered user profile created on Recruix.com.ng
“Services” refers to all features, tools, and functionalities provided by Recruix.com.ng to its users

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirement

To use Recruix.com.ng, you must be at least 18 years of age. By creating an account or using our platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If we discover that a user is under 18, we reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate their account without notice.

2.2 Legal Capacity

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws of Nigeria or your country of residence. By using our platform, you confirm that you are not legally prohibited from entering into contracts or using online recruitment services.

2.3 Employer Eligibility

Employers and recruiters who register on Recruix.com.ng must be legitimate businesses, registered organizations, or authorized recruitment agencies. We reserve the right to request proof of business registration or authorization at any time.

3. Account Registration and Security

3.1 Creating an Account

To access certain features of Recruix.com.ng, you are required to create a registered account. When registering, you agree to:

Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information during registration
Keep your account information up to date at all times
Use a valid and active email address that you own and have access to
Create a strong and secure password for your account

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials, including your username and password. You agree to:

Not share your account credentials with any third party
Not allow any other person to access or use your account on your behalf
Notify Recruix.com.ng immediately at support@recruix.com.ng if you suspect any unauthorized access to or use of your account
Log out of your account after each session, especially when using shared or public devices

Recruix.com.ng shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or harm resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your account credentials.

3.3 Account Accuracy

You agree that all information provided in your account profile, CV, cover letters, and any other content you submit on our platform is accurate, truthful, and not misleading. Providing false or fraudulent information is a serious violation of these Terms and Conditions and may result in immediate account termination and legal action where applicable.

3.4 One Account Per User

Each individual user is permitted to maintain only one active personal account on Recruix.com.ng. Creating multiple accounts for the same individual is not permitted and may result in the suspension of all associated accounts.

4. Job Seeker Terms

4.1 Free Access for Job Seekers

Browsing job listings and applying for jobs on Recruix.com.ng is completely free for all registered job seekers. We do not charge job seekers any fee to create a profile, search for jobs, or submit applications through our platform.

4.2 Profile Responsibility

As a job seeker, you are solely responsible for the content of your profile, CV, cover letters, and any other information you submit on our platform. You agree that all information you provide is accurate, current, and truthful. Misrepresenting your qualifications, experience, or identity is a violation of these Terms and Conditions.

4.3 Job Applications

When you apply for a job through Recruix.com.ng, you understand and agree that:

Your application and profile information will be shared with the employer who posted the relevant job listing
Recruix.com.ng does not guarantee that your application will be reviewed, considered, or responded to by any employer
Recruix.com.ng has no control over the hiring decisions made by employers
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet the requirements of any position you apply for

4.4 No Payment to Employers

You acknowledge that legitimate employers do not charge job seekers any fees as a condition of employment or as part of the application or recruitment process. If any employer on our platform requests payment from you, you agree to report this immediately to report@recruix.com.ng and to refrain from making any such payment.

4.5 Job Alerts and Communications

By creating an account and setting up job alerts, you consent to receiving email notifications, job recommendations, and platform communications from Recruix.com.ng. You may manage your notification preferences or unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time through your account settings.

5. Employer and Recruiter Terms

5.1 Employer Registration

Employers and recruiters must create a verified employer account to post job listings on Recruix.com.ng. By registering as an employer, you represent and warrant that you are an authorized representative of a legitimate business or organization.

5.2 Job Listing Standards

All job listings posted on Recruix.com.ng must meet the following standards:

The listing must describe a genuine, real, and currently available employment opportunity
The listing must be accurate, honest, and not misleading in any way
The listing must clearly state the job title, responsibilities, qualifications required, and application process
The listing must not contain discriminatory language or unlawful conditions of employment
The listing must comply with all applicable Nigerian and international employment laws and regulations
The listing must not advertise any illegal, unethical, or fraudulent activity

5.3 Prohibited Job Listings

The following types of job listings are strictly prohibited on Recruix.com.ng:

Listings that require job seekers to pay any fee in exchange for employment or consideration
Multi-level marketing schemes, pyramid schemes, or any similar structures disguised as employment
Listings that request sensitive personal or financial information from applicants as part of the application process
Listings for illegal activities or roles that violate Nigerian law or international standards
Listings that discriminate against candidates based on race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
Duplicate or spam listings designed to mislead job seekers or manipulate our platform

5.4 Employer Responsibility for Listings

Employers are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of all job listings they post on our platform. Recruix.com.ng reserves the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any job listing that violates these Terms and Conditions or our platform policies, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

5.5 Handling of Candidate Data

Employers who receive candidate data through Recruix.com.ng, including CVs, contact details, and application materials, agree to:

Use candidate data solely for the purpose of evaluating and processing job applications
Handle all candidate data in compliance with applicable data protection and privacy laws
Not sell, share, or transfer candidate data to any unauthorized third party
Delete candidate data that is no longer needed for recruitment purposes

5.6 Job Listing Fees and Packages

Certain job listing features and premium services on Recruix.com.ng may be subject to fees as outlined in our pricing plans. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing. Recruix.com.ng reserves the right to modify its pricing structure at any time with reasonable notice to affected users.

6. Prohibited Conduct

All users of Recruix.com.ng agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

6.1 Fraudulent and Deceptive Behavior

Creating fake accounts, false identities, or impersonating any individual, company, or organization
Submitting false, misleading, or fabricated information in profiles, job listings, or applications
Engaging in any form of scam, fraud, or deceptive practice on our platform

6.2 Unauthorized Access and Technical Abuse

Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of our platform, servers, databases, or systems
Using automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to collect data from our platform without our express written permission
Introducing viruses, malware, ransomware, or any other harmful code to our platform
Attempting to interfere with, disrupt, or overload our platform infrastructure

6.3 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Sending unsolicited emails, messages, or communications to other users of our platform
Using contact information obtained through our platform to send spam or promotional messages unrelated to legitimate recruitment
Posting repetitive, duplicate, or irrelevant content on our platform

6.4 Intellectual Property Violations

Copying, reproducing, distributing, or exploiting any content from our platform without authorization
Using Recruix.com.ng’s branding, logo, or trademarks without our express written permission
Uploading content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party

6.5 Harassment and Harmful Conduct

Harassing, threatening, intimidating, or abusing any other user of our platform
Posting or transmitting content that is defamatory, offensive, obscene, or harmful
Engaging in any conduct that damages the reputation of Recruix.com.ng or its users

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Ownership of Platform Content

All content on Recruix.com.ng that is created by or on behalf of Recruix, including our logo, brand identity, website design, layout, text, graphics, software, and code, is the exclusive intellectual property of Recruix.com.ng and is protected under Nigerian and international intellectual property laws.

7.2 User-Generated Content

By submitting content to Recruix.com.ng, including your profile, CV, job listings, reviews, or any other material, you grant Recruix.com.ng a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving our platform and services.

You retain ownership of all content you submit. However, you represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit such content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of any third party.

7.3 Restrictions on Use

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, or commercially exploit any content from Recruix.com.ng without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

9.2 No Guarantee of Employment

Recruix.com.ng does not guarantee that any job seeker will secure employment through our platform, nor do we guarantee that any employer will successfully fill a vacancy. We are a facilitating platform and the outcomes of recruitment processes depend entirely on the decisions of the parties involved.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Recruix.com.ng shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, financial loss, or reputational harm.

10. Termination and Suspension of Accounts

10.1 Termination by User

You may terminate your Recruix.com.ng account at any time by accessing your account settings or by contacting our support team at support@recruix.com.ng. Upon termination, your profile and associated data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10.2 Termination by Recruix

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any user account at our sole discretion and without prior notice if we determine that the user has:

Violated any provision of these Terms and Conditions
Engaged in fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful conduct
Posted fake, misleading, or prohibited job listings
Harassed or harmed other users of our platform
Engaged in any activity that threatens the security or integrity of our platform

10.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination of your account, your right to access and use Recruix.com.ng will immediately cease. Any outstanding obligations or liabilities incurred prior to termination will survive the termination of these Terms and Conditions.

11. Modifications to the Platform and Services

Recruix.com.ng reserves the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our platform or services at any time, with or without prior notice. This includes changes to features, pricing, content, and availability. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of our services.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

12.1 Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nigeria.

If an amicable resolution cannot be reached within 30 days of the initial notice of dispute, either party may pursue legal remedies through the appropriate courts of Nigeria.

12.3 Waiver of Class Actions

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class action, collective action, or representative proceeding.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Recruix.com.ng and its directors, officers, employees, partners, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in connection with:

Your use of our platform in violation of these Terms and Conditions
Any content you submit, post, or transmit on our platform
Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party
Any fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful conduct on your part

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed from the rest of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
